Main Stars ~ Christmas in Mexico

For this Main Star I decided to do Mexico because I thought that this would be quite interesting.

Here is what I found out:

Christmas In Mexico Is celebrated during a season Which starts in early December to January the 6th with one other related event on February the 2nd

Las Posadas is a nine-day celebration that originated in Spain and is now celebrated in Mexico. It begins on December 16th and ends on December 24th. This has been a Tradition in Mexico for over 400 Years. This Is one of the Catholics traditions but some Latinos (A religion) do it as well
Their Christmas season starts with some celebrations in honor of a women called the Virgin of Guadalupe. On December the 3th a nine day Novena (A latern word: Novem meaning Nine ) Is started In honor of the Virgin of Guadalupe whitch ends on her feast day December the 12th
The most important event related to this is the pilgrimage (Which means journey) to her basilica (church) in the north of Mexico City, with people coming to pay respects.. The area in and around the basilica (church) begin to crowd with lights, fireworks and indigenous dancing starting at dusk on December 11 which goes on all night and into the next day.

I really enjoyed learning about this countrys Christmas celebrations and I think that it was quite cool how they have more than one celebration.
